Andy Murray could not overcome Roger Federer to win the Wimbledon Mens Single title, he is all but certain to be competing in the final tournament of the season the hugely popular Barclays ATP World Tour Final,
The ATP World Tour Finals is season ending championship of tennis, which sees the top 8 players in the world playing each other to find the champion. The tournament is held in November at the O2 Arena in London. This year it will take place from November 5 to November 12, 2012.
Players expected to take part include Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray the other 4 spaces will be filled by players who have played in 61 tournaments and four huge Grand Slams in Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open to qualify to play at the O2 Arena in front of a huge indoor crowd of 17,000.
The tournament is donw on a round robin format, meaning each player plays a minimum of 3 matches each in the group stages to qualify for a semi final berth. Each session at the O2 will include one doubles match then one top 8 single match.
