JLS Sports Relief Single Proud Charity Concert announced

JLS have recored the official Sports Relief single which will be released on 18th March 2012 and is called “Proud”. To support the Sports Relief single, JLS are to perform a very special concert at The O2 on Saturday 24th March 2012 which will include support from Olly Murs. Tickets for JLS Sports relief concert are on sale on Saturday 21st January 2012 at 10am from cketmaster.co.uk.
JLS are the UK’s biggest group and since coming second in X Factor have gone from strength to Strength. The new single proud is expected to raise lots of money for the Sports Relief charity.

THe single is available to download from 18th March both in stores and by download. the money raised from the single will help the most vulnerable people in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.
This lovely ballad features Oritsé, Marvin, Aston and JB written by song-writer Ali Tennant and songwriter / producer supremo; Cutfather.

This latest single is set to be the bands 8th top 10 single and their 5th number one. The boys have won two mobo awards and two brits, and in total have sold over 6 million records in the UK.

JLS are pleased to support sport relief they said

. The band travelled to Uganda in 2011 to see how money raised by sports relief is been spent.

Performing the track on the Sport Relief enormous night of entertainment, which kicks off at 7pm, BBC1 on Friday 23rd March, the 2012 BRIT-nominated group will also be performing a special one-off matinee concert for Sport Relief at The O2 on Saturday 24th March and will be joined by special guests.
With the hugely successful third album Jukebox shooting straight to number two in the charts at the end of last year, 2012 is already mapped out to be another stellar year for JLS, as they prepare for their upcoming Fourth Dimension Tour, which sees the group headlining another national arena tour throughout March and April.
