Haye V Chisora Tickets for Upton Park Fight go on sale but should it be allowed?

Surprising news reached us this morning to announce David Haye will fight Dereck Chisora at Upton Park on 14th July 2012.   Although both fighters do not hold a British licence with the British Boxing Board of Control due to the brawl they had at a press conference, they have been able to circumvent the British boxing authorities so that the fight can be sanctioned by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation. This has been made possible due to European Union freedom of trade laws permit the fight to be held in the United Kingdom as another EU nation has allowed the fight.

The fight is being billed as Licensed To Thrill tickets are available now from EVENTIM who ARE the only OFFICIAL TICKET AGENT for the fight

The question is should these two guys be allowed back in the ring after their brawl at a  press conference of which Chisora’s was beaten by Vitali Klitschko,  If you missed it here is a youtube video of the brawl,  be warned there are scenes of a violent nature.

That night in Munich, Frank Warren wanted to set up a fight between the two British Boxers, and today he has confirmed that he is getting his wish,

The brawl in Munich is still being investigated by Munich Police, and there is no hiding that no love is lost by the two men.
Haye said

“This is definitely personal. We genuinely don’t like each other. He has threatened to break my jaw, he has threatened to slap me.

Chisora said

“I don’t like him. Talk is cheap now. That was a lucky shot he hit me with in Munich. Your talk is cheap. You always talk but you don’t
deliver in the ring.”

Even before the brawl in Munich Chisora was in trouble with authorities and saw most of his purse withdrawn due to a couple of incidents including.
slapping Klitschko at the weigh-in and spitting water at his brother Wladimir before the fight.

Haye had already relinquished his British Boxing licence after he retired, after his lost to Wladimir Klitschko in Hamburg.

Frank Warren the manager of Chosora initially said he would not back a fight between the two men, but after the appeal into the licence withdrawl was put back to July. Warren said what Chisora did was stupid but he has been out of action over 6 months and he argues a man should be able to make a living.
It seems Money talks, Warren says he wont take a cut of the gate, but he is a shareholder of BoxNation who will charge viewers to watch the fight on TV.

Other big names in Boxing were not keen on the fight being allowed to take place including Frank Maloney a rival promoter who said the fight “undermines the authority” he likened it to football saying “It’s like the [English] FA. Would we see the Luxembourg FA coming over to the UK and starting their own league, If these two had not had the punch-up, no-one would talk about them.”

Do you think British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) should sanction Warren for not support the licence revokation and getting around the rules by getting another boxing board to sanchtion the fight in the UK.

The antics of these two would not look out of place in the fake world of WWE wrestling do you think they should be allowed to fighter each other and are you going to buy tickets which are available at face value from Eventim
