CSS UK Shows and New Album Released

CSS are arguably Brazil’s leading rock band export. They were formed in 2003 and are labelled as being part of the New Rave Scene. They sing in both Portguese and English and the bands stands for Cansei de Ser Sexy which means “got tired of being sexy”.
The 5 piece have being regulars on the european festival scene since 2006, with there day glo cat suits and lots of glitter. Their first two albums were Cansei der Ser Sexy and Donkey. Big hits include ‘Move’, ‘Alala’ and of course ‘Let’s Make Love And Listen Death From Above’.

Their third album is due out on 21st August on V2 Records and will be called ‘La Liberación’. They recorded the album in Sao Paulo and it includes a colabration with Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream. I
Adraino of the band described the thoughts behind the new album

“We had been touring for years non-stop (and) we had some serious management issues.” Returning to Sao Paulo allowed the band recuperate and take stock. “(We were in) a completely different state of mind. Rested, happy, well fed, satisfied, fit and looking good!”
